This policy explains how Vasant handles information collected through this website. It tells you what we collect, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and what choices you have. We keep it short on purpose.

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. When you join the newsletter, we receive your email address.
  • Basic visit data. Like most websites, we see technical information such as your browser, device, approximate location, the pages you view and the site you came from. This is collected with Google Analytics.

We do not take payments through this website, and we do not ask for card details here.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message and talk about your project.
  • To send you the newsletter, only if you signed up.
  • To understand how the site is used and make it better.
  • To keep the site secure and block spam.

Who helps us handle it

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the site, and only for that purpose:

  • Hostinger, which hosts the website.
  • Google Analytics, which shows us how the site is used.
  • MailerLite, which sends the newsletter.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is filled in by a person and not a bot.

Payments for our services are handled outside this website, through Stripe, under Stripe's own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can accept or decline them in the cookie notice on the site, or block them in your browser settings. The site also remembers your light or dark mode choice in your browser. That setting stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to:

  • See what information we hold about you, if any.
  • Correct it.
  • Delete it.
  • Ask us to stop emailing you.

Every newsletter email also has an unsubscribe link. These choices are open to everyone, wherever you live, including visitors from California and the European Union.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to work with you, then delete them. Newsletter emails stay on the list until you unsubscribe.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, and only people at Vasant who need your information can see it. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
